I have a Class III Underbite, and it’s pretty severe. I can get the very tip of my tongue between my upper and lower front teeth.
My teeth are very misaligned in the back and I know I will have to have braces, but I am curious. Were I to have a textbook realignment, what would I expect? Braces before or after? Amount of pain? Swelling? Surgery time? Heal time? How does the surgery go about happening? Do they saw off pieces of the jaw? Just break it? Do they really wire your jaw shut for three months?

I know I should get in contact with my maxillofacial surgeon about it, but I really just don’t have time right now. I’ll remember to take everything on here with a grain of salt
