My mother said her doctor told her she couldn’t eat brown rice and some other whole grains since she has so many stomach problems (had complications during several surgeries). I thought whole grains helped make it easier for the system to push out waste. But why would her doctor tell her that? She also says her stomach hurts whenever she eats whole grains. Anyone know anything about this?
